OCD is a group show based on the theme of “Obsession and Compulsion”. Artists present work which investigate the cycle of thoughts and behaviors, which form a vicious fixation. Some works divulge the obsession with body image, ideas, desire or love. Others discuss a fanatical tendency within society; such as the representation of social separation through people’s obsessions with the internet where we are encouraged to view information about other people without actually having to interact. OCD is also represented through repetition in object and movement as well as frenzied collection and hoarding.
